Moda University Strip Club Meets the fourth Monday or Saturday of the month at 10 am.
2009 Moda Block of the Month available online or in store. Watch for more detail on the 2009 Moda block of the month. The new block of the month will start in October. This is a 12 month block of the month. Fabric used will be Collection for a Cause by Moda and Portobello by Three Sisters. Openings are limited and will fill fast, this sure to be another great quilt. Quilt size will be approximately 64" X 89". Kits will include all the fabric for the top and binding. Backing fabric will be available for the same great fabric.
We are constantly updating our inventory, but with having a 7,000 square foot brick and mortar store is impossible to keep everything totally updated on the online store.
Up Coming Classes: Quilting 101 A beginning quilting class for those who have not pieced a quilt by machine.
Instructor: Barb Bruner Time: Noon - 4pm Class Fee: $40.00 Class Dates: January 17th & January 24th (Saturdays) Class Description: The class will be divided into two sessions: Session I Tips on rotary cutting, pressing, matching seams, measuring, cutting, piecing blocks and strips. Session II Borders, making the sandwich, quilting the top and sewing on binding.
Supply List – Please purchase your supplies at Craft Town if you do not have what is required. We will help you in choosing goods supplies. There is a difference in quality between what a quilting store carries and what Wal-Mart carries. Buy the best so that you will not have to replace the item later.

Fabric: Choose the large border fabric first
¾ yd focus fabric for large border on your quilt.
Nine - ¼ yards of three color ways, and for each color way you will need a light, medium, and dark for a total of nine ¼ yards. (Example: one color way could be light yellow, medium yellow, dark yellow). The color ways should complement the border.
¼ yard for narrow border 1 5/8 yd for backing and binding
Sewing machine in good working order. You must know how to operate the machine and how to thread it. Bring along the operating manual. (If you don't know how to operate your machine, we can set up an extra session for a fee to teach you, or you can get a lesson from the dealer.)
Please come to class prepared to start at 12 Noon. If you need to purchase items, please do so before class starts. Teacher will be available one hour before class starts for assistance.
Bring a snack if you like.
Pre-registration is required. Payment due at time of registration. Phone registrations can be taken by calling 812-883-6860 and requires payment by credit card. Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the class date in order to receive a refund. A 10% discount will be given for supplies needed for the class. No children please.
UFO Club starting the 4th Saturday in January. Membership fee: $10.00 per year. Finish your designated project on time and pay no fee, not able to get your project finished you will pay a small fee, which will go toward a sewing weekend in January 2010. Come join the fun and get motivated to get your projects finished. There will be a all day sew athon the 4th Saturday of each month from 8:30-4:00.
